Schöpfungstheologische Reflexionen zu den Grenzen der Machbarkeit -Schmidt, A.,- in Theologie und Glaube, N° 3, 2003, pp. 301-315 - Are theology and technology separated into two different worlds ? How can the moral theological claim to restrict the technological possibilities be justified, e.g. to forbid cloning of human beings ? Here it will be shown that Christianity itself supported secularization and the scientific and technological subjugation of nature. But this process was initiated by love and was supposed to promote love, whereas modern cultivation of cognition without love not only brougt about catastrophes, but could not even explain the nature of man. In quantum theory, however, the Socratic insight returns, the insight that there are metaphysical restrictions of technological possibilities.-
